    1. 1. The day I thanked God for the beauty of the day then stopped the car along the side of the road and simply reveled in the color of the trees against the blue sky.
      2. When I talked to my closest friends about the blessings I received during my Emmaus weekend.
      3. When I failed to ask God for wisdom before making a big decision. Need to work on that.
      4. I plan to continue to set aside a time early morning to meditate and talk to God.
      5. Our minuster's wife, Sandy Wadsworth, is awaiting cancer surgery and needs prayers.

    2. Karen, I LOVE that you stopped the car! What a great way to breath in God's beauty! I need to try that one day.

  2. Faithful Sisters,
Thank you for sharing your week. I'm praying for you and so glad we have this method of bridging our geographic distance.
    1. At the Emmaus Gathering Friday night, among the large number of community members who assembled to worship, share communion and enjoy Christian fellowship and food!
    2. When I encouraged a friend who struggles with anxiety - assuring her that God is in charge and He will see her through.
    3. When my husband accepted an invitation to attend his co-worker's church on Sunday (instead of ours) and I had to gracefully submit to his authority.
    4. Continue to pray every morning before I even open my eyes, with special emphasis on counting my many blessings. Stay on task with BSF lessons - reading, answering questions and attending weekly study.
    5. Safe travel for my children as they travel to Atlanta for the holiday and then return home this week.
